Organizational Development Specialist

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
1.       *Create and maintain organizational-wide training curriculums using the Analyze, Develop, Design, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) process, to include but not limited to develop training materials, manage training logistics and ensure program effectiveness.
2.       *Partner with all areas of the organization and create development programs and trainings which align with PH&C’s goals and mission, vision and values.
3.       *Facilitate a variety of ongoing and as-needed developmental curriculum in order to maintain and improve team member skills and organizational needs; present information via a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
4.       *Assist and support management in areas such as change management, performance improvement, leadership development, succession planning, team building, workforce management and talent management.
5.       *Develop training materials, processes, tools and documentation that are consistent with sound instructional design and adult learning principles.
6.       *Develop alternative solutions and methods of delivery which may include traditional classroom facilitation, on-the-job, web-based or multi-media based learning.
7.       *Maintain processes to evaluate developmental initiatives and regularly monitor effectiveness and quality of programs.
8.       *Maintain accurate training records; compile data and provide reports to management regarding training and developmental needs.
9.       *Implement organizational-wide training; assist to coordinate and/or facilitate a variety of company trainings as needed.
10.    Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
11.    Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1.       A Bachelor’s degree is required.  If no degree,  two years of leadership or organizational development, curriculum/instructional design and facilitation, classroom instruction, or related human resources experience is required.
2.       Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
3.       The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. 
4.       The ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels and understand the interests of multiple stakeholders and how those interests relate to Potawatomi Hotel & Casino (PH&C) and its goals.
5.       The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
6.       While performing the duties of this job, the team member must be able to operate a personal computer and move freely throughout the office and property. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
 
Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases.  The facility is not smoke free.
