Guest Service Expectations:

Job Functions:

 

 

  • Greets every guest with a smile
  • Follows sequence of service for every guest
  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Ensures that the Banquet is properly set and ready for business, checking for cleanliness
  • Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Knows the menu items, specials, and prices.
  • Uses the pivot point system to ensure proper placement of food.
  • Takes orders accurately and completely.
  • Knows current wine list and has an understanding of the different wines.
  • Completes all side work and other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Offers assistance to all guests regardless of where they are seated.
  • Performs table side cooking/preparing as required
  • Upholds standards by setting examples with appearance and work ethic.
  • Works to ensure a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
  • Handles any guest’s complaints or problems in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report if a personal accident does occur.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Ensures thorough communication between shifts.

Requirements:

  • Requires constant standing, walking, bending with occasional sitting, reaching outward, reaching above shoulder level, squatting and kneeling
  • Requires constant pulling/pushing up to 25lbs. with occasional pulling/pushing of 25-75lbs.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
  • Possesses ability to work under pressure.
  • Prior experience is helpful as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Must also possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Is always clean and neat, in proper uniform, including nametag, I. D. badge, and slip resistant shoes.
  • Reports to work on time; signs and swipes in properly.
  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Must attend and pass R.A.M.P.
  • Adheres to the Cut Off Procedures
