Vice President Human Resources

Lead and manage the Human Resources Operation, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with company and department goals and policies in a non-bureaucratic style.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • In terms of Employee Relations, the Human Resources VP must cultivate a fun pro-active work environment that builds and maintains employee motivation, alliance, guest service commitment and productivity.
  • Complimentary privileges within prescribed limits in accordance with the approved Comp Matrix
  • In terms of Management Development, the Human Resources VP must enhance and support our corporate culture and growth by reinforcing our “competitive edge” through continually upgrading our employees’ management, leadership and guest service skills, thereby promoting entrepreneurship within the organization.
  • Develop potential candidates and promote from within based upon skill and “can do” attitudes with our guests and employee
  • Design and oversee implementation of employee incentive programs that motivates and rewards the individual and team performance in providing superior guest service.
  • Maintain the leadership goal by establishing and constantly maintaining the goals, adjectives, and the distinctly unique values of the organization by demonstrating a high visibility, non-bureaucratic leadership style which fosters teamwork and will motivate the employees and provide them with a clear interpretation of the company goals and objectives while be pro-active and reaffirming these goals constantly.
  • Network with other departments to ensure consistency of direction.
  • Maintain strategic planning initiatives by monitoring and assessing all resources plus innovation, staying ahead of the competition and existing trends in a cost-effective and productive manner consistent with company objectives and long range planning.
  • Monitor legislative/regulatory issues in human resources management and disseminate pertinent information throughout the organization on the potential impact of social/political/economic changes affecting our ability to recruit, retain and motivate out Human Resources.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related Degree.
  • Five (5) or more years of Gaming Environment Experience
  • Fifteen (15+) or more years of Human Resource Management Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Exceptional public speaking ability.
  • Computer skills required include Microsoft Office or equivalent, prior experience with HR Related software tools.
  • Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Must be detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
