Sheraton Station Square

Individuals who do not have prior dealer experience and are interested in the dealer career will have the option to qualify for and attend “dealer school”. The tentative date for Rivers Casino dealer school is April 5, 2010. Dealer school is four to ten weeks depending on the games type, four hours a day, five days a week. The managerial and supervisory positions require prior experience in a licensed gaming facility of a similar size and applications for those positions will only be accepted via our website. Must be 18 years or older and willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test, background check and have state licensing. Professional attire preferred. Rivers is an equal opportunity employer.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) requires all table game dealers be trained either at an accredited school or licensed casino facility (such as Rivers Casino), OR have at least 6 months of table game dealing experience in another jurisdiction within the last 5 years.
If you do not have the required experience and are interested in becoming a table games dealer, you must first complete Dealer School in order to audition for a position at Rivers Casino. Rivers Casino offers Dealer School at no charge for individuals accepted into the program.
Depending upon which table game you are learning, Dealer School sessions will be held for 4-10 weeks, 4 hours per day, 5 days per week with morning, afternoon and early evening classes. Attendance is critical so that you can build the necessary skills to complete the training, and audition for a dealer position.
Students must successfully complete Dealer School and subsequent audition in order to be considered for a position as a dealer.
