Player Development Analyst

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.    Effectively maintains Loyalty System; inputs promotions, incentives and offers as requested by the Marketing Database Manager.  
2.    Effectively writes, proposes, and runs ad-hoc loyalty database queries as specified by the Manager.
3.    Conducts analysis on business profitability; customer visitation patterns, and ROI on loyalty program activities. 
4.    Publishes a monthly report on Loyalty Program usage and profitability trends.
5.    Collaborates with departments throughout ONE to meet business needs via the Loyalty System.
6.    Initiates and executes approvals for all activities.
7.    Manages, maintains, and archives all computer files in an orderly system; continuously archives previous files.
8.    Is proactive in all activity planning and resolves issues by bringing them to the attention of the Manager in a timely, detailed manner.
9.    Effectively and efficiently maintains a tracking system for all loyalty requests.
10.    Continually provides effective administrative support to the entire Marketing department and assists the Manager in the preparation and submission of yearly budgets.
11.    Ensures files and records are well maintained/organized. Develops ways to improve management efficiency.
12.    Maintains constant and effective communication with other departments and various outside contacts.
13.    Manages the workload and tasks at hand in a timely manner.
14.    Proofreads all promotional copy to ensure accuracy.
15.    Works with IT, Finance, and Rewards desk to ensure tracking is accurate.
16.    Consistently abides by Turning Stone’s confidentiality protocols.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field required.  Equivalent experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.
2.    Must have primary analytical experience in Marketing, Research, or Finance environments.
3.    Must have experience with statistical modeling/analytics software like Micro strategies, SAS, R, etc.
4.    Must have at least 4 years of experience with the following: Microsoft Office applications, particularly Access and Excel, database and report generation functions; and possess some knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL). 
5.    Experience in the marketing environment preferred.
6.    Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
7.    Must have advanced math skills.
8.    Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
9.    Must have excellent communication skills.
10. Above-average organization skills preferred.
11.    Experience working with advertising agencies and/or media placement agencies preferred.
