Licensing Technician

Job Description

The Licensing Technician is an administrative support role to the Licensing Department that assist with the end-to-end processing of new hires for ONE.  They will support all fingerprinting, drug testing and paperwork processing for new hires.  They will manage the fingerprint processing for all appointments.  They will be responsible for producing both new and replacement badges and ID’s.  They will need to be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities, and maintain goal-directed behavior; must interact courteously and professionally with others internally and externally, and will have experience working alone and as part of team in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.

The working hours for this position are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. As this position directly serves the public, dependability is critical.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately and effectively performs electronic fingerprinting for all appointments
  2. Assists with and accurately performs drug testing 
  3. Accurately prepares and releases all new & replacement employee badges & name plates.
  4. Maintains equipment in clean working order.
  5. Maintains name plate and licensing inventory.
  6. Assists with the release of employee licenses (badges) to the Onboarding team after receiving approval from the Commission.
  7. Accurately inputs Licensing Data into Infinium and maintains complete files to ensure proper employee licensure.
  8. Effectively and accurately completes general data entry in the Licensing and Processing database.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must have an Associate’s Degree or Certificate in business or related field.
  2. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  3. Must possess excellent telephone skills.
  4. Knowledge of various office machines such as Fax, Copy Machine, and Shredder required.
  5. Ability to operate an engraver and camera.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  7. Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks at one time.
  8. Must possess a pleasant demeanor with a willingness and ability to communicate with the public.
  9. Must be able to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  10. Must be able to keep all department information completely confidential.
