ON CALL opportunity in Verona, NY


Join the excitement as an EVENT ASSISTANT




  • Assists in effective event execution (i.e. general public celebrations, trade shows, sporting events, gift giveaways, player tournaments, etc.) ensuring a guest service focus
  • Effectively handles questions from patrons while representing the Casino at player events. 
  • Effectively supports the Event Coordinators in developing, coordinating and communicating events for Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Yellow Brick Road Casino, and Point Place Casino.

Job Requirements

Position Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills, are required
  • Must possess strong telephone skills.
  • Previous marketing or promotions experience in a gaming or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Knowledge of LSI system or related software preferred.
  • Must possess personal computer skills with knowledge of e-mail and internet functions.
  • Basic Casino gaming knowledge preferred.
  • Must be flexible with schedule; will work nights, weekends and holidays.


Position Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to carry, reach, kneel, grasp, sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
