Credit Service Representative

Job Description

  • Ensures that exemplary guest service is consistently provided when explaining, instructing and assisting guests with the fundamentals of casino credit and check cashing applications and approval processes.
  • Consistently runs all required credit related reports for all casino credit and check cashing applications received by the Cage Operations Department.
  • Ensures that all guest credit files are thoroughly and accurately prepared and maintained when verifying, processing and maintaining guest account information, credit files, credit worthiness based reports, check-cashing and approvals for all new, existing or changed accounts. 
  • Responsible to immediately notify a Cage Supervisor or above of any derogatory or missing information related to guest files, KYC or AML related information.
  • Ensures complete confidentiality regarding guest account information including bank and credit reports and AML/KYC related information.
  • Accurately enters all guest account and credit information into the casino management system after credit information is obtained and a line of credit is approved and established by an authorized approver. 
  • Reviews all paperwork for accuracy, appropriate signatures, and dates while entering information into the computer and ensures information is free of error.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge and comprehension of the gaming Compact and all related Internal Control Procedures.
  • Consistently follows appropriate guidelines and seeks proper assistance/approvals in handling check cashing and credit accounts.
  • Responsible to maintain daily, weekly and/or monthly credit related reports and updates to guest credit accounts.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma; or equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Previous experience in a guest contact position preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Knowledge of data entry preferred.
  • Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use a calculator, printer, copy machine and scanner.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays as needed.
