Director Database Marketing

Job Description

Summary: 

The Database Marketing Director will play a strategic role in owning the development of the player journey, defining landmarks along the way, and executing programs that drive deeper engagement with ONE guests to increase retention and increase revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops lifecycle marketing strategies in coordination with Marketing and Player Development teams.
  • Acts as owner of Casino Player journey; develops the journey map, coordinates the deployment of player communication campaigns
  • Employs deep player empathy and understanding of the challenges and triumphs that our guests encounter as they enjoy casino gaming.
  • Designs and executes marketing initiatives with a focus on increased player engagement, and organizational revenue.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to develop messaging, creative and campaigns.
  • Champions high-impact acquisition programs spanning multiple channels including email marketing, direct mail and paid search/social campaigns.
  • Analyzes and monitors the impact of programs, using insights to constantly improve approach.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to develop messaging, creative and campaigns.
  • Collaborates with management to set and hit revenue targets.
  • Collaborates with internal analytics teams to streamline reporting and campaign operations.
  • Monitors and reports on campaign progress weekly / monthly / quarterly.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or relevant related field.
  2. Must have a minimum of five years planning and executing CRM campaigns in a casino gaming environment. Ideal candidates will have experience measuring the results, and refining methodology, of CRM campaigns.
  3. Strong background in CRM/lifecycle, direct response marketing, and computer application proficiency required.
  4. Experience with various product platforms including Adobe CRM, Tableau, and Scientific Games CMP a plus.
  5. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access.
  6. Possesses a “guest-first” mindset when approaching projects.
  7. Demonstrated track record of successful collaboration with cross functional teams on marketing initiatives that drive revenue.
  8. Demonstrated ability to develop, launch and measure marketing programs and campaigns independently.
  9. Exceptional writing, communication, and speaking skills.
  10. Demonstrable experience planning and executing programs particularly adoption, cross-sell, and up-sell and an understanding of marketing tactics like events, e-mail, advertising, and in-app messaging.
  11. Organization and efficiency- demonstrated ability to take on complex projects and own them from start to finish.
