Bingo Supervisor

Job Description

  • Ensures that each session is adequately staffed with Money Room Clerks, Callers and Floor Clerks.
  • Consistently monitors recruitment needs and interviews prospective employment candidates. Makes informed selections while notifying Human Resources and the Bingo Director.
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring Team Members are trained and developed in Bingo Operations and monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and monthly shift schedules.
  • Prepares in advance and records the issuing of Bingo Bucks required on a daily basis.
  • Maintains frequent communication with all work areas to ensure efficiency, performance standards and superior guest service.
  • Regularly monitors the inventory of all Bingo supplies and Bingo paper. Ensures accurate input of inventory.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of PAF and administrative procedures and in doing so, accurately tracks and records L.O.A.'s, vacation time, EO's, call-outs, and special requests.
  • Continually updates the hotline everyday for guest awareness of promotions, closings, or ticketed events.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of Bingo Operations internal functions, controls and software updates.
  • Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge with regards to changing session payouts and menu programs in the electronic bingo system.
  • Consistently utilizes microphones to explain any delays to Bingo patrons.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma/G.E.D.
  • Three years experience in Bingo Operations or related area.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must possess computer skills with knowledge of WordPerfect and Quattro Pro.
  •  Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
  • Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
