Administrative Receptionist

Job Description

 

  • Immediately greets all guests to the administrative area and directs them appropriately.
  • Continually provides prompt and courteous service when answering guest calls, making transfers to the appropriate departments for further servicing, while following departmental procedures.
  • Continually maintains a working knowledge of upcoming Turning Stone events and promotions and advises guests accurately.
  • Always ensures that employees entering the administrative areas display appropriate employee identification.
  • Works closely with Sales Department and Executive Office to provide special recognition and care for potential clients and guests of the Executive Staff.
  • Effectively issues temporary identification for visitors and arranges for escorts in administrative areas.
  • Maintains familiarity and rapport with all administrative staff.
  • Provides effective clerical and reception support in the Executive Office, Hotel Operations, or other departments as assigned.                                                                               
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of all Emergency procedures and is able to implement these procedures immediately if a situation should arise. (emergency evacuation, etc.)                   
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with the Microsoft Excel and Word programs to pull up telephone book and Employee listings.   
  • Assists the Employee Relations Team with events and programs as needed.
  • Serves as a back-up to the HR Assistant during high volume periods and time-off.              

Job Requirements

 

  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess excellent communications skills.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
