Sports Book VIP Host - Turning Stone

Job Description

Our new sports book venue “The Lounge with Caesars Sports” opened this summer is bringing the best of sports betting to Upstate New York.  Apply now and be part of our winning team!  We are actively hiring for VIP Hosts, full time.

The Sports Book VIP Host provides guest service coordination, and sells Sports Book premium amenities and packages to our Sports Betting guests.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of Sports Book management, this individual greets guests and sells the premium seating packages within the Sports Betting lounges.
  • Coordinates with Player Development, Marketing, and Gaming Operations to maximize food, beverage, and seating package revenue.
  • Communicates with Sports Betting and Food and Beverage staff continuously during events to maintain guest service standards and revenue opportunities.
  • Maintains records and reports of all Sports Betting premium guests for future event sales efforts.
  • Facilitates internal communications among all impacted OIN departments
  • Meets assigned goals and objectives established by management to ensure projected targets are achieved.
  • Provides valuable feedback to Management on guest preferences and their expectations.
  • Ensures full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.


Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required.
  • Must have 2 years of related experience in VIP Services, sales, casino or sports marketing.  Experience and interest in sports and guest hospitality is preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; must be able to build effective relationships with all levels of professional within the organization. 
  • Demonstrates sound judgment when making decisions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast paced, guest-facing environment.  Must be able to appear calm in high pressure situations.
  • Must have knowledge of MS Office & computer skills; and telephone etiquette experience.
  • Must be self -motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
