Bingo Moneyroom Clerk

Job Description

The Bingo Money room Clerk is responsible for counting issued money bands at the beginning of each shift, paper issue and returned paper for accuracy.  In addition, the Bingo Money room Clerk accurately makes change for guests and Bingo Floor Clerks and explains the Bingo program and rules.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Always counts issued bands at beginning of shift to ensure that change fund balance is correct and accountable.
  • Always counts paper issue and returned paper to ensure all paper inventory is accurate.
  • Accurately distributes money and paper issues as required.
  • Promptly counts and tallies all Bingo Attendant money turn INS.
  • Always reports any variances immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Accurately makes change for guests and Bingo Attendants.
  • Ensures phone calls are answered in a timely manner and by the established phone procedures.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to assist with other areas of the Bingo operation as needed.
  • Knowledgeable of all events offered in the Bingo Hall.
  • Always ensures that the paper issue cupboards are stocked.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required.
  • Mathematical ability essential; must be able to accurately account for large amounts of cash.
  • Previous computer experience needed; computer system is utilized to sell packs and specials.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English; communicates with guests regarding bingo purchase.
  • Must possess reading ability; explains programs and rules to guests.
  • Written communication required; must be able to fill out manual forms on a daily basis.


Physical Requirements:


  • Fine manipulation of hands required.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, push and pull.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
