Job Description


The following temporary positions are available March through November


  • Demonstrates exceptional guest service skills when selling F&B items to either guests or employees.
  • Continually operates cash register/cash bank and accepts payment for F&B product(s) ensuring accuracy when making change.  Ensures coupons, comps, room charge, credit card, etc., are settled according to policy.
  • Is always extremely responsive to guest’s questions regarding food items, prices, methods of preparation, and availability of various F&B products.  Continually up-sells F&B products offered.
  • Always ensures that assigned area is kept orderly/clean.  Ensures assigned area is stocked.
  • Always takes a proactive approach in ensuring that food handling procedures are followed accurately.
  • Ensures proper procedures are followed when working with cooking equipment.
  • Continually assists in answering the telephone promptly, to ensure guests orders are communicated and ready in a timely manner.  Continually utilizes proper storage and care when handling take-out orders.
  • Always prepares various products and ensures that the proper maintenance for the equipment.
  • Ensures product being sold is cooked to perfection and enough products are being cooked to satisfy business demands so customers are not waiting.
  • Effectively takes guest orders in a timely manner.  Ensures that beverage orders are taken within two minutes after guest is seated.  Ensures that guests receive their check in a timely manner.
  • Verifies all check discrepancies with the Supervisor before making any changes.
  • Ensures that all guest orders are correct before service.  Ensures that all sales are accounted for prior to presenting the check to the guest.
  • Maintains communications with Rangers and other golf staff for player’s positions on the course.
  • Always follows proper golf etiquette.  Never starts the cart/drives and keeps voice down when a player is about to shoot.  Always drives the cart in a professional manner.

Job Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to speak English and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to count money, make change, ring in orders and settle checks on POS system.
  • Previous Food & Beverage/Country Club experience a plus.
  • Must be able to keep an accurate record of product and sold product.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be safety oriented.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a golf cart.
