Cage Cashier Opportunities

Full-Time or Part-Time / Evening and Overnight Shifts Available

Minimum $11.52/hr to start plus training incentive with potential to earn an extra $1.25/hr.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Demonstrate the understanding necessary to complete all front window transactions by accurately counting and redeeming gaming chips, redemption of gaming vouchers from slot machines, check cashing, creating new guest accounts, printing and paying out credit card cash advances, issue and consolidate guest counter checks (markers) and exchange foreign currency.

 
 

  • Perform accurate cash settlement and balancing procedures by verifying that all currency, chips and the paperwork associated with all transactions are accurately accounted for and turned in at the end of each shift by use of computer and manual counting skills.

 
 

  • Must have the ability to handle large volumes of cash and multi-task in an accurate, honest and efficient manner at all times.

 
 

  • Ensures that Poker Dealers and Poker Chip Runners are accurately and efficiently supplied with gaming chips in the Poker Room.

 
 

  • Must have the ability to make guest service a priority and provide exemplary guest service while ensuring all guest transactions are accurate and efficient.

 
 

  • Must demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities and interact with all peers and levels of management alike.

 
 

  • Must demonstrate the ability to comply with all Nation regulations including department and company policy and procedures.

 
 

  • Must demonstrate the ability to utilize various counting equipment in the form of computers, currency counters, coin sorters and 10 key calculators.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Gaming Industry and/or Cage Cashier Operation preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to multi task and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must possess exemplary guest service skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with the public.
  • Must have the ability to perform transactions by use of basic math skills.
  • Previous computer and money handling skills preferred.
