Season's Harvest Porter (PT)

Job Description

  • Attempts to control food costs; throw away, etc.
  • Performs routine inventory on a daily basis of all required items necessary to stock the food and beverage outlet.
  • Continually picks up dishes from tables; as well as food trays from floor, tables, and tray jacks.
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to maintain equipment standards. Reports any equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Monitors all beverages soda and juice bibs, regular and decaf coffee, ensuring a full supply are available for the guests use.
  • Always checks and maintains necessary items on top of and below the service stations.
  • Wipes down the tops and fronts of the soda and coffee machines, cream dispenser and stations. Ensures drains for the coffee and soda machines are kept clean and free from build up as well as ensures that ice does not build up on the soda machines.
  • Always sweeps and picks up the floors around the stations keeping them free of trash and dirt.
  • Mops up any spills around the soda stations to prevent guests from slipping on the spills and uses the wet floor signs accordingly.
  • Empties trash cans as required.
  • Always wipes down the soda bib connectors, hoses, and racks with warm soapy water.
  • Neatly puts away all stock that was ordered and delivered. Breaks down all cardboard and takes it to the dumpster after putting the stock away. Keeps the stock room neat and clean making sure there is no trash on the racks or the floor.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to speak English.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous Food & Beverage experience a plus.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple functions.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Fine manipulation of hands is required for simple grasping of 5 pounds and pushing or pulling of up to 100 pounds.
