Facilitate on going education department wide. Develop training/competency testing within PAS department. Design ongoing statistical tracking for accuracy within department. Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint. Work independently, prioritze projects. Must have flexible schedule. Operate under frequently stressful condiditons due to the constant changing requirements in health care. Understand process change and how it affects human behavior.
Degree in Health Adm Services, Education or Business preferred. Consideration will be given to individuals with 3-5 yrs experience in Registration, Patient Accounting or Centralized Scheduling who do not have a degree. Minimum of six months experience in a medical office setting required for degreed candidates. Three to five years experience in a hospital Admitting/Patient Accounting/Scheduling area preferred.
