Qualifications - Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years in the insurance industry, with production based marketing and/or underwriting experience.
Experience working with national brokers and more complex client relationships.

Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Comfortable in speaking one on one, or in large groups. Understanding of sales techniques. Strong computer skills.
Excellent sales territory management skills. Knowledge of insurance distribution channels. Knowledge of HSB products and services. Strong negotiating skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications - Non-Technical Skills:
High degree of initiative. Ability to telecommute and accommodate up to 20% overnight travel. Excellent time management and organization skills. Strong leadership qualities. High degree of accountability.
Well networked within the insurance industry or within the territory.
Qualifications - Other:
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Chosen candidate ideally resides within 30 miles of Los Angeles to accommodate travel to broader L.A. area based clients.
