JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY
Responsible to acquire, develop, reactivate and maintain strong personal relationships with casino VIP guests and the communities that lead to increased revenues for the casino. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Seek new and targets players to inform them of the benefits of player development programs.
  • Generates new and increased revenue and profitability for the casino.
  • Communicates both orally and in writing to current, new and past guests.  Answers questions, extends invitations and resolves disputes as necessary.
  • Monitors hotel reservation blocks for casino and other special events.
  • Provides complimentary offerings for each level of player dependent upon pre-established criteria.
  • Responsible for all aspects of customer service.
  • Travels to various markets to recruit new players.
  • Provides weekly reports which include player’s weekly activity and other development efforts.
  • Responsible for adherence to performance based standards and goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent required, 1-3 years experience in player development.
 
 
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such policies, procedures, internal controls and governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, correspondence and procedures.  Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from managers, guests, and the general public.
 
MATH ABILITY
Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions according to business needs. 
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
 
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess intermediate computer skills and have experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).   
 
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain a G2 License from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

The noise level is loud most of the time.  The employee will be exposed to cigarette smoke on the casino floor.
