Job Title:   Players Club Representatives-MPI
Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort


Provide excellent customer service to all guests at Mountaineer Casino.  Enroll new Players Club members, inform members of benefits, contests, promotions and services.  Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to execute the responsibilities of this job. 

• Enroll new players after confirming guest does not have a current account.
• Check identification before all transactions including but not limited to opening a new account, changing a pin number, disclosing any information about the account to the guest.
• Safeguard the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.
• Greet guests by name after guest offers players club card and/or identification when approaching the club.
• Understand and communicate club rules, promotion rules, promotion details and on property issues to guests.
• Assist in executing promotions, special events, kiosk events, slot tournaments as needed.  Handle club promotional give-a-ways.
• Responsible for counting & balancing cash drawer & making nightly deposit.
• Sells event & lottery tickets.
• Assist in greeting busses.
• Keep work area clean and tidy.
• All other duties as assigned.


 Must have a professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, be able to offer exceptional customer service, be able to operate a cash register and poses good computer skills. 
Exercise sound business judgment generating effective solutions to guest complaints quickly and/or raising issue to management as necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.  Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
Basic typing skills are an essential. Prefer prior knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a similar field. Works under immediate supervision. Must be able to work Lottery terminal, ETIX printer and computer and Total Promo. Must be able to understand the kiosks and be able to explain how to be used by guests.
Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
