As Assistant Controller of Hotel, Food and Beverage, and Other, you'll:

  • Oversee the non-gaming departments within the casino, as well as direct supervision of related associates.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions. 
  • Oversee bank reconciliation functions.
  • Manage the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers as assigned. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory controls, reports and returns, including but not limited to federal and state laws and Michigan Gaming Control Board regulations. 
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage staff in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree is required and an accounting degree is preferred. 
  • Five years minimum of accounting experience. 
  • Knowledge of accounting software, food/beverage software, hotel software, theater software, gaming software, spreadsheets and word processing software. 
  • Ability to obtain  a Level I license from the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
