Digital Marketing Specialist

Description:

  • Under the general direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing, monitoring, editing and improving the usability, design, content and conversation of company website. 
  • Utilize HTML and CSS to develop effective user interfaces on the company website and mobile app released to the public.
  • Responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability.
  • Performs web quality assurance on all current web properties and coordinates web updates with relevant departments.
  • Manage and report on website performance including key word use, search engine optimization, and overall site visit and usage utilizing a range of techniques including paid search and SEO.
  • Responsible for creating, deploying, monitoring, and reporting on a wide variety of email marketing sends and campaigns.  Ensure design and layouts of emails are both user and mobile friendly.
  • Assists in the creation, deployment, and management of on property digital assets (e.g. digital restaurant menus, casino floor advertisements, etc.).
  • Maintains Digital Marketing asset folder including email creative archives, banners and more.
  • Stays up-to-date on MGCB, Can-Spam Laws, and changes and advancements in email marketing.
  • Seek digital solutions to support marketing campaigns.
  • Ensures that company policy, goals and objectives are being adhered to and works in the best interest of the company.
  • May perform the duties of any level two licensed associate (or below, including non-licensed) within the Marketing/Loyalty Marketing/Customer Relationship Marketing Departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Three (3) years prior marketing experience (or any other alternative as deemed appropriate).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience (or any other alternative as deemed appropriate).
  • Must be able to portray proficiency of HTML, CSS, and other web design applications.
  • Experience with web-based analytical programs and Google Analytics required.
  • Understanding of UX/UI design.
  • A strong background in SEO, paid search/display advertising is required.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite (Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver).
  • Prior experience with Marketing Clouds, especially email marketing.  Experience with ExactTarget preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
