PIT MANAGER/ MASTER SCHEDULER

Responsible for Table Games department scheduling on all 3 shifts. At the direction of the Shift/Assistant Shift Manager, assists in accounting for all Table Games operation during their shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain attendance records on each Table games team member to include names, addresses, and telephone numbers.
When requested by management, call team members for scheduling, maintain call in log and update names of team members who call in to be absent from work to Casino management/ Table Games administrator daily.
Be responsible for having adequate supplies on hand for Table games training room and office.
Advise Casino management of updated schedule and be available for contact in person or by telephone.
Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
Assists in the scheduling of dealers and Floor Supervisors as directed.
Supervise live games, ensuring game integrity and internal controls are adhered to as directed.
Assist in monitoring subordinates. Provides counseling and implementing disciplinary actions as directed.
Fills and credits chips as directed.
Provides administrative support by opening and closing slips and reports; preparation of PAF’s; scheduling of Table Games area floor staff and dealers; verification of time sheets and sign in sheets; initializing and implementing dealer rotation schedule.
Maintains quality customer service and effective communication with all other departments.
Maintains all logs and reports and process all paperwork on time.
Develops and maintains quality customer service and performance levels.
Ensuring security of the casino’s assets, ultimate guest satisfaction and team member morale.
Keep abreast of current information on laws and regulations affecting Table Games operations.
Ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures and direct personnel in accordance with policies and objectives.
Maintain communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments.
Inform the Shift/ Assistant Shift Manager of any irregularities.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with MCRS approved policies. Responsibilities include training planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, reward and disciplining team members, as directed, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Possess a working knowledge of all games, house rules and Table Games counting methods and procedures. Must have knowledge of gaming regulations, basic understanding of computer generated reports. Knowledge of all forms and regulations regarding opening, closing and operation of table games. Team leader and innovator relating to marketing concepts. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Must be competent with various PC based software programs. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with guests and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and team member relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma. Minimum five years previous Table Games supervisory gaming experience. Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform in fast paced and goal oriented environment.
