JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
Monitor and supervise the day-to-day operations of Serrano.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintain the day-to-day supervision of the Serrano by supervising and coordinating the activities of food service personnel engaged in the preparation and serving of meals.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign personnel to meet production plans, and evaluate work performance of employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.
  • Inspect kitchen and dining areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
  • Fill out all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for hiring, disciplining, developing “front of the house” staff. 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory authority over Serrano (FOH).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests.   
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a F&B establishment.

Requires Food Workers Certificate prior to first day worked.
