MAIN BANK CASHIER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible and accountable for funds from all cash transactions occurring during shift in accordance with company’s internal controls and requirements of the Gaming Commission on Accounting and Internal controls.
Responsible for the flow of and documentation of money and other cash equivalent documents through the vault to support daily gaming activities.
Verifies and processes currency exchanges and transfers for Vault windows. Accepts returned cash drawers and counts down the bank for overages and shortages.
Secures cash/currency to be deposited at the bank and handles transfer of funds.
Responsible for the redemption and consolidation of counter checks, maintaining accountability of counter checks after issuance.
Responsible for maintaining accountability of Player’s Bank
Will function as a Cashier (102009) when assigned

Strong accounting and money-handling skills are a necessity.
Must possess a high regard for customer service and Team Member relations.
Computer literacy with ability and willingness to learn new applications.
Knowledge of MCRS internal controls
Must be proficient at a 10 key calculator.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of six months Vault Cashier I experience or equivalent. Must be proficient at a 10 key calculator. Knowledge of MCRS internal controls.
