CASINO HOUSEKEEPER (PT)
Responsible for the cleaning of all public areas, restrooms and offices throughout the entire Casino complex as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are used per the manufacturer’s instructions.
Perform all duties in a safe manner, reducing the risk to guests, employees and self.
Pick up paper and trash from floor and around machines.
Clean machines, toilets, sinks and mirrors.
Empty and clean ashtrays.
Collect cups and trash, pull full trash bags, push trash cart to dumpster and empty.
Operate and clean vacuum sweepers.
Reports conditions of establishment to supervisor.
Ensure that all OSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
Assist with special event clean up and crew management.
Knowledgeable in the use of cleaning products. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Previous housekeeping, custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
