The Utility House Person is assigned as a "deep" cleaning person to work on specific projects to maintain the cleanliness of hotel rooms and common areas to 4-Diamond standards. Greet guests and engage in polite and professional conversation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily cleaning projects include, but are not limited to:
Guest and Service Elevator are cleaned
Ash urns are cleaned and stamped (logo) every 2 hours or as needed.
Public trash cans checked and emptied every 2 hours or as needed.
Check out box is cleaned and polished.
1st & 2nd floor elevator landings are swept, cleaned, mopped & vacuumed.
Check all vacuums for repair, working order and bags are changed.
Shampoo carpets as needed.
Move furniture as requested.
Complete high dusting projects assigned.
Clean furniture and drapes as required.
Polish marble and hard floors as assigned.
Ensure 1st floor storage is cleaned & organized throughout the day.
Flower vases collected and placed in receptacle and stored in 1st floor storage.
Operate various cleaning equipment, such as, buffer, vacuum, carpet machine, etc.
