COOK III - POTRERO CANYON BUFFET (PT)

Description:

JOB SUMMARY
Prepares sandwiches, sandwich fillings, salads, cold dishes, appetizers, ensuring that buffet is fully stocked for guests.  
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure our guests receive excellent customer service primarily through maintenance/preparation of buffet items.
  • Make sandwiches & salads to order in the buffet.
  • Prepare sandwich fillings, cold dishes, appetizers & salads.
  • Wash, peel, slice vegetables, fruits & other cold ingredients.
  • Carve & slice meats & cheeses. 
  • Portion & arrange food for orders.
  • Measure & mix ingredients for salad dressings & cold sauces.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
Skill in professional cooking, knife handling skills, and preparing a variety of foods. Knowledge of maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies and materials. Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests.   
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED is required, plus 2-3 years of experience as a cook or pantry cook.

Must have unexpired Food Workers Certificate prior to your first day worked.
