PREP COOK - BUFFET (PART-TIME)
Assist and prepare international foods for the front line in Buffet, garnishing salads, making soups, specials and some sauces.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cutting and slicing meats and vegetables; preparing salads; making sauces.
Assisting cooks as needed.
Preparing for banquets, assist with banquet set ups and tear downs.
Preparing sandwiches and ordering of food items.
Occasionally work the line.
Cleaning and organizing walk-ins.
Other duties may be assigned.
Must possess a cooperative and happy personality. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of two years of related experience, preferably in the hotel and/or restaurant industry. Must be able to read food order tickets in English.
Must have unexpired Food Workers Certificate prior to your first day worked.
