COORDINATOR - MARKETING PROJECTS
Depends On Experience
Support the marketing/graphic design department as the main point of contact for all graphics project requests received. Review/log the request, follow-up with the requestor on any unclear items and then review the request with the Graphics Manager for assignment to a Graphics Designer. Responsible for writing and thoroughly proofreading all marketing content including captions, headlines, and text for print advertisements and other materials. Proofread and edit as necessary graphics proofs and the final draft of all projects. The position works closely with other team members within the Marketing team to maintaining the identity and integrity of the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa brand. Should display creativity, a talent for persuasion, and fluency with language.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete graphics project orders and duties required by manager to insure accurate implementation of projects with proper tagging of Marketing & other departmental campaigns.
Produces copy for marketing and property communications as directed by management.
Demonstrates successful copywriting and proofreading skills and the delivery of projects on time.
Coordinates with casino and marketing team members to ensure all copy submissions properly reviewed and approved.
Ensures that presented material is factually correct and in keeping with the codes of advertising practice.
Maintains a deep understanding of the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market.
Prepares drafts of different initial options for the Marketing Team prior to development into workable concepts.
Makes all necessary changes to the copy until the final product is submitted and approved.
Assist with coordinating, scheduling and tracking of daily graphics projects for graphic design and production teams.
Record status, monitor & update visual media content daily with graphic manager & team.
Attend marketing/property meetings as required and take meeting notes on projects with graphic manager.
Demonstrates strong conceptual skills and ability to create superior, original copywriting. Solid understanding of deliverables and the ability to take responsibility for them. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Excellent organization and communication skills. Strong writing, proofreading/copy editing skills. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time with strict deadlines. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. 2-year college degree preferred or a combination of schooling and work experience. Two years experience working in Marketing/Marketing Communications highly desired.
