Hotel Guest Services
Supervise Front Desk Agents, Bell, and Concierge. Ensure that guests are greeted with 4-Diamond service upon their arrival at the Hotel Front Desk, efficiently check them in to the hotel and offer any assistance possible.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure 4-Diamond guest service to all that you come in contact with. Act as a role model to employees to encourage the highest level of customer service.
Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment & travel.
Oversee daily operation of services for the hotel room operations.
Communicate to the Front Office Manager, information needed to increase guest services and develop new guest service related amenities.
Compute bill, collects payment & makes necessary changes for guests.
Ensure execution of contracts, deposits, billing pertinent to hotel rooms.
Supervise/mentor/develop Hotel Guest Services team.
Work with hotel management colleagues to ensure that services to our guests remains at the highest level.
Communicate with the Front Office Manager information and statistics pertinent to planning and execution of maximizing revenue while increasing guest perception.
Responsible for communicating expectations, motivating and developing the Front Desk Agents.
Excellent communication skills both in person as well as on the telephone. Team leader and innovator relating to others. Computer skills, excellent verbal and written skills. Required to act as a sales representative.
Need to have worked in California, in Hotel Room Sales.
Skilled in LMS preferred, but not required. Computer savvy, ability to operate 10-key adding machine. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires 2 years experience in Hotel Front Office operations and previous experience as a supervisor, preferably in a service or hospitality business.
High School diploma or GED required. Degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience providing necessary background for the position).
