CASHIER - CASH OPERATIONS (PART-TIME)
$10.50/HR + Tips
Assist guests with methods of supplying cash, such as slot voucher redemption, credit card cash advances, check cashing and chip redemption. Provide guest service to both external and internal guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Functions as general cage cashier and specialty banker.
Safeguard casino assets and maintain the accountability of the cashiers’ cage in accordance with company’s internal controls and requirements of the Gaming Commission on Accounting and Internal controls.
Responsible for receiving cash, cash equivalents, personal checks cashed and gaming chips in return for cash. Process credit card advances.
Process and pay out large jackpots.
May be responsible for the redemption and consolidation of counter checks, maintaining accountability of counter checks after issuance and transfer to the cashiers’ cage and maintaining inventory of gaming chips and coins used on gaming tables.
Perform functions assigned to vault windows, such as, table games fills and credits, kiosk fills and reconciliation, prepare and issue employee banks, team member exchanges.
All other duties as assigned.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to take direction from supervisors. Strong math and money-handling skills are a necessity and 10 key with a high degree of accuracy. Good interpersonal skills are a necessity. Must possess a high regard for customer service and Team Member relations. Ability to work under stressful situations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED. Previous finance/banking experience highly desired. Customer service background.
