OPERATOR/RECEPTIONIST - PBX (PART-TIME)

Responsible for answering all incoming phone lines into the Casino, Hotel & Spa.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle multiple calls on console and multi-button in-house phones.
Relaying messages and calls using cordless phones, pagers, paging system, and radios for various departments.
Contact MOD’s for jackpots.
Provide detailed property and/or community information to customers in a polite and professional manner.
Meet any special needs indicated by internal/external customers.
Take reservations, if necessary, accurately inputting guest information into Resort computer system.
Candidate must possess a pleasant phone voice and a cooperative and happy personality; this includes tactful treatment of irate persons. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations, with the ability to work in a fast paced and goal oriented environment. An individual must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of private/personal information. Candidate must also be competent with various PC based software programs and standard office equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required. 1 – 2 years experience in Call Center, PBX and/or Reservations environment. Previous casino/hotel resort experience preferred.
