ENGINEER - KITCHEN EQUIPMENT
Exercises expertise in kitchen equipment maintenance. Position inspects, repairs and services all refrigerated, electric and natural gas operated kitchen equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Repairs all refrigerated, electrical and gas operated kitchen equipment
Performs all inspections as required by local codes.
preventative maintenance program
and maintains all kitchen equipment through its implementation.
Orders and maintains adequate repair parts to facilitate timely repairs.
Initiates as required and completes all work orders of repairs completed, parts used, and time expended.
Performs other plumbing repairs as required.
Performs other electrical repairs as required.
Maintains all records and inspections as required by department, state and local regulations.
Knowledge of methods, practices, equipment and supplies used in the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment. Knowledge of practice and procedures related to the maintenance and operation of such equipment. Knowledge of materials (parts and supplies) for kitchen equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or G.E.D.
2. Three (3) years successful experience in kitchen equipment repair
3. Basic knowledge of refrigeration, electrical and plumbing codes, and fire safety codes related to kitchen equipment installation and inspection
