SUPERVISOR - SLOT OPERATIONS
$37,440.00 + Per Year Depending On Experience
Supervise the operation of slot machines and performance of slot floor staff during assigned shift in compliance with Slot Department Policy & Procedures, ensuring 4-Diamond customer service is provided to Slot players within assigned area.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in assigning slot floor staff to ensure staff levels appropriate to business need.
Perform training, coaching and personnel counseling as assigned by Shift Manager.
Ensure assigned slot floor staff responds to guest service requests, machine service lights, radio service calls or management service instruction.
Promote 4-Diamond guest service, professionalism and team member morale. Maintain leadership presence on the casino floor for support and positive interaction with all employees and guests.
Keep Slot Shift Manager informed of all pertinent business information, staff issues/concerns and any irregularities in play. Continually observe players and machines for honest play.
Ensures compliance with Title 31 requirements and pertinent gaming laws.
Maintain communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Must possess the ability to act in a leadership capacity within a fast paced and goal oriented environment. Requires tact and diplomacy in dealing with the public and staff and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Requires knowledge of various types of Slot Machines, Video Poker, Keno and Class II Bingo and Video Lottery Terminals. Must be competent with various PC based software programs and possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED is required. Two (2) years previous Slot Operations experience and at least one (1) year of Slot Supervisory experience are required.
