JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
Manage the operations for the Fine Dining Restaurant located a top the hotel tower.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for Fine Dining Restaurant operations.
  • Supervise activities of all food and beverage service and host personnel in the Restaurant. 
  • Prepare work schedules and assign personnel to meet production plans, and evaluate work performance of employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all food and beverage service areas and equipment.
  • Inspect kitchen, dining areas, kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
  • Fill out all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, development and disciplining of the “front of the house” staff. 
  • Supervisory authority over all employees in Restaurant (FOH).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have 3-5 years of fine dining restaurant management experience. Must have gourmet and fine dining knowledge and experience. Ability to train and develop Front of the House staff to maintain fine dining service standards. Have in depth knowledge of fine wine and have the ability to pair food and wine Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests. Prefer previous experience in a Four Star establishment.  
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in a F&B establishment.
