JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
Supervise all Guest Room Attendants during assigned shift.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish job responsibilities, training and control costs within the department for the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa.
  • Oversee daily operation of Guest Room Attendants cleaning for the hotel rooms area.
  • Schedule, hire and discipline for all staff under your control.
  • Communicate to the Executive Housekeeper information and statistics pertinent to planning and execution of maximizing revenue while increasing guest perception.
  • Inspect rooms as required to ensure they meet our 4-Diamond requirements
  • Ensure all rooms and Hallways are in compliance with 4-Diamond expectations.
  • Supervise/mentor/develop Hotel Guest Room Services team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
Computer skills, good verbal and writing skills. In-depth knowledge of Hotel Housekeeping operations. Skilled in LMS, scheduling, hotel room quality control. Team leader and innovator. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years experience in Hotel Housekeeping operations, preferably at a luxury resort. Casino experience preferred but not required. High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree or equivalent work experience providing necessary background for the position preferred but not required.
