SUPERVISOR - ENVIRONMENTAL SVS
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining our facilities in a safe and presentable appearance, including the following areas: Janitorial, Carpet Cleaning, Stock room, exterior cleaning, Equipment care management, and Storage areas management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
Assign work duties to Environmental Services crews.
Coordinates and monitors activities of EVS team members making sure procedures are followed and goals are achieved per overall plan of the department.
Ensures that all checklist and work schedule forms are followed and properly filled out.
Participates in training and assisting with disciplinary actions as needed and in coordination with Facilities Manager.
Conducts safety meetings, drills and performs safety inspections making sure that all paperwork is properly filled out.
Aids in completing introductory and annual evaluations in coordination with the Facilities Manager.
Participates in planning and implementation of new systems in the department in order to meet overall goals of organization.
Enforces Morongo’s policies and procedures as well as safety rules and regulation among team members.
Track attendance and vacation, etc.
Work with Facilities Manager on a regular basis.
Submit requests for supplies to manager as needed.
Provides training as needed, assists team members in solving problems.
Performs other duties as required or directed.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Tribal policies. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to coordinate and supervise the Environmental Services Department program. Knowledge of methods, practices, equipment and chemical supplies used in sanitation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. Minimum two years experience in related supervisory fields.
