SECURITY OFFICER II - CASINO
Protect Tribal Assets and provide security to ensure a safe environment for Guests and Team Members.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include but no limited to the following.
Protect Tribal assets from theft.
Stand at assigned security posts throughout the Casino.
Secure and observe the daily pull.
Conduct a daily pull from all gaming tables.
Conduct table game fills from the main cashier’s cage to a table when requested.
Provide cash vouchers to video personnel for problem machine payouts.
Provide a security presence for casino patrons and guests.
Participate and pass all training sessions, including the bi-annual firearm training.
May be assigned to the Patrol Bureau which includes bike and/or beat patrol.
Follow directives from the Director of Security, management and supervisory staff.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified/sensitive information. Must be competent with various PC based software programs and standard office equipment. Must be able to establish and maintain productive working relationship with co-workers and management. Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Pass an extensive background through the Gaming Agency in order to be qualified to hold a Gaming License. Must be able to complete written statements and incident reports that meet department standards. Must have a current B.S.I.S. Guard Card and Exposed Firearms permit and be able to successfully complete the B.S.I.S. Firearms Qualification course of fire. Must posses a current California Driver’s License.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required
(1) Year Experience with an outside Security Company (and meet all other existing requirements) or;
(2) Years Experience within the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in another Department, no discipline or attendance issues, and recommendation from current supervisor (and meet all other existing requirements) or;
Prior full-time military service, w/honorable discharge, and a primary MOS (Military Job Description) in Military Law Enforcement or Military Security field as verified by DD Form 214 (and meet all other existing requirements) or;
Associate Degree (or above) in an Administration of Justice related degree program (and meet all other existing requirements).
