SUPERVISOR - COUNT ROOM
Oversee shift activities including team member’s transaction verifications, scheduling, compliance with all Internal and External Controls and the daily upload into the audit system electronically.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Train and give additional training to team members who need further instructions regarding job duties, balancing and /or policies and procedures.
Implement and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Work and Supervise in the Count Room where the cash drop information is uploaded into the audit system electronically.
Supervise and work with “Glory” and “Cummins” currency counting equipment.
Responsible for the daily exchange to the Main Vault.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Good working knowledge of all count room functions, procedures and policies. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to read and analyze information detailing assets.
Basic knowledge of accounting practices and principles. Must have knowledge in the following software applications Word and Excel. Competent in the use of computer spreadsheets, database and mainframe applications in a Windows environment. Ability to understand and process complex paperwork. Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Must be able to stand long periods of time. Strong math and money-handling skills are a necessity. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a necessity. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations. Good oral and written skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. Previous supervisory experience required.
