MANAGER - BANQUET

JOB SUMMARY
Manage the Banquet operations, after receiving Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) from Catering Manager. Ensure that all banquet guests receive the utmost in customer service. 
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ensure the delivery of the utmost in customer service at every scheduled banquet/convention event.
  • Supervise activities of all banquet personnel. 
  • Prepare work schedules and assign personnel to meet event plans, and evaluate work performance of employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.
  • Inspect kitchen and dining areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
  • Fill out all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for hiring, disciplining, developing banquet part-time, full-time & extra board staff.  

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.   Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests.   
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in a banquet/fine-dining F&B establishment.
