JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Interactive Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of an interactive customer marketing and communications strategy for the company.  The job requires an in-depth understanding of current interactive technology and the ability to utilize these technologies to create an immersive customer experience. The Interactive Marketing Manager is responsible for integrating the disciplines of Branding, Social Media, Mobile Marketing, direct marketing, advertising, strategic technology development, research.  The IMM must have a grasp of industry trends and the creativity and experience to rapidly evolve the company’s interactive marketing channels.
  • Executes Monte Carlo’s Internet marketing to increase website visitor volume, database acquisition/growth, market share and room revenue.  Monitor current booking trends and modify marketing strategies to maximize room revenue.
  • Assist with the development of Hotel Marketing, Social Media, Mobile (SMS and App) and Email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and evolve the online marketing/branding strategy consistent with overall Monte Carlo brand.
  • Implement new online marketing initiatives, technical solutions and analysis (i.e. Social Media and Website content management platforms, pre/post stay promotions, mobile integration, etc.).
  • Assist in the development of all content and functionality of the montecarlo.com website. Ensure content is accurate and updated in a timely manner as new property additions/changes are made.
  • Execute all on-line research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Interactive Marketing and Affiliate Marketing Manager to develop new partnership strategies. Analyze these strategies to maximize conversion and room revenue with all non-contracted OTA and GDS partners.
  • Further develop, maintain and leverage the hotel/Social/Mobile marketing databases for targeted email, social media and SMS campaigns employing campaign management, customer profiling, message customization and predictive modeling.
  • Using Google Analytics and available ad serving platform, monitor and measurement programs to assess the impact of online strategies and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Responsible for total project management and quality interaction with other departments (Convention Sales, Public Relations, Advertising, Revenue Management, Information Systems and Direct Marketing,).
  • Educate and inform management on all aspects of online performance (i.e., company positioning, business development, cross marketing efforts, and individual campaign performance).
  • Stay on top of industry trends, Social Media developments, ROI possibilities and technology.
  • Manage expenditures and campaign effectiveness to demonstrate a positive ROI for all applications.
  • Define and facilitate the capture of customer information necessary to fulfill interactive marketing goals.
  • Evaluate channel costs and effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintains content/offers in App, website, SMS platforms.
  • Research and monitor Monte Carlo brand presentation on various distribution channels to maintain accurate hotel information and presentation of our resort.
  • Work directly with and assist appropriate personnel with reviewing, monitoring and responding to customer review websites such as TripAdvisor.com, Yelp.com, etc.
  • Other job related duties as requested. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in online and Social Media marketing programs.
  • Ability to relay and translate technical jargon into simple terms.
  • Ability to multi-task many items and projects at once.
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of data mining and intelligent database platforms is very desirable as is experience in developing service-based website products, customer loyalty programs and micro-segmentation communications strategies.

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Working Knowledge of Google Analytics and other reporting software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
  • At least 2 years of experience in the hospitality, travel or gaming industry.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
