The primary responsibility of the Digital Analyst is to perform analysis to provide accurate and current information to decision-makers about MGM Resorts digital channels. The Digital Analyst will utilize tools such as Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst/Discover), TeaLeaf, DoubleClick and others in order to perform analyses about digital marketing effectiveness or website / mobile app behaviors. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures.

  • Create automated reports using the Adobe Analytics tools to provide routine information about customer acquisition and online behavior to key marketing executives.
  • Review session data within TeaLeaf to understand customer behavior and identify site issues that are adversely impacting conversion.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis necessary to gain insight into behavioral differences of various customer segments on MGM Resorts International digital properties.
  • Perform marketing campaign and investment analysis for all Online advertising, and website related activities.
  • Maintains departmental standards and current knowledge of MGM RESORTS.
  • Serve as power users for property marketing departments in the Adobe and TeaLeaf tools.
  • Develops and maintains corporate share-points where all reports and documents will be stored for property distribution.
  • Maintain senior management dashboard reports.
  • Participates in training for Web Analytics Tools (DoubleClick, Kowabunga, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Perform all other job related duties as requested.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including understanding of advanced functions within Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Marketing, or other analytical field.
  • Previous experience in an analytical role.
  • Working knowledge or previous experience in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe SiteCatalyst/Discover, TeaLeaf).
  • Working knowledge of web programming concepts (HTML, Javascript, AJAX).
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
