Social Media Specialist

Conduct Corporate Marketing social media activities as necessary.
Engage online audiences, both reactively and proactively, ultimately empowering others to talk about the brand.
Rectify M life member issues or concerns independently up to prescribed levels of authority.
Identify opportunities with new social media tools and applications to be considered for future use.
Report on metrics to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment.
Build and maintain a working relationship with bloggers and other internet influencers.
Willingness to experiment and innovate while protecting the company's brand and staying in compliance with all regulatory, FTC, and company policies related to Social Media activities.
Utilize effective measurement tools and strategies that measure the overall impact of campaigns and accurately quantify results.
Responsible for assisting with research, strategy and implementation of emerging forms of digital media and paid social media inclusion (YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
Help train leadership with techniques and share best practices to more effectively engage larger share of audience on sites including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Digg, etc.
Leverage mobile and social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Digg) to communicate the brand and the brand story.
Implement strategies to engage public using Twitter, Facebook and other social media websites.
Understand current trends, technologies and advancements in the mobile and social media space.
Partner with Corporate Advertising and Internet Marketing to execute communications strategies around key brand efforts.
Test and implement communications using emerging platforms (gaming, IPTV, etc.)
Implement emerging media campaigns.
Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
At least 1 year of internet marketing/advertising strategy with proven success; preferably within the travel industry.
Proven ability to understand new media solutions to achieve business objectives and results.
Attention to detail.
Understands social media universe including Facebook, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, forums, Twitter, wikis, blogs, etc.
Knowledge of search engine optimization to leverage posts to drive traffic and increase company rankings on the search engines.
Ability to multi-task on different campaigns, projects and research.
Ability to partner and manage agency relationships.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Passion to learn and accept change on a continual basis.
Clear understanding and expertise of using the internet and internet related technologies.
Experience successfully managing medium-large projects involving participation and coordination of several resources and departments.
Expertise reviewing and providing formal recommendations to mid-upper management.
Excellent customer service skills.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possesses functional knowledge and/or some experience with HTML/CSS.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms
Bachelor Degree in management, marketing, hospitality or related field.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
