Positions, installs, and connects Productions and subcontracted equipment.
Maintains high quality service when working with clients and other departments.
Operates and monitors all equipment during events.
Monitors and maintains all logs, schedules, set-up sheets, and pop-up order paperwork to complete equipment set-ups and strikes in a timely manner.
Connects equipment electrical lines to power source, when necessary.
Performs preventative maintenance (complying with the manufacturer’s standards) on all equipment according to a predetermined schedule.
Trains new employees.
Advises supervisor of all problems or malfunctions with all equipment that would disrupt or affect the meeting, event, or performance.
Advises supervisor of needed parts and materials to repair and maintain audio, audiovisual, lighting, and video equipment and when to temporarily replace equipment.
Responds to emergency calls to repair equipment and accommodate last minute equipment requests from clients.
Operates an assortment of power tools, measurement instruments and a scissor lift working at heights exceeding 20 feet.
Engage, entertain and inspire all who visit by making a focused commitment to L.O.V.E.
Other job related duties as requested.
At least 2 years working in a production related field.
Physical ability to access all areas, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Some college education.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or Vectorworks.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
