JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Positions, installs, and connects Productions and subcontracted equipment.
  • Maintains high quality service when working with clients and other departments.
  • Operates and monitors all equipment during events.
  • Monitors and maintains all logs, schedules, set-up sheets, and pop-up order paperwork to complete equipment set-ups and strikes in a timely manner.
  • Connects equipment electrical lines to power source, when necessary.
  • Performs preventative maintenance (complying with the manufacturer’s standards) on all equipment according to a predetermined schedule.
  • Trains new employees.
  • Advises supervisor of all problems or malfunctions with all equipment that would disrupt or affect the meeting, event, or performance.
  • Advises supervisor of needed parts and materials to repair and maintain audio, audiovisual, lighting, and video equipment and when to temporarily replace equipment.
  • Responds to emergency calls to repair equipment and accommodate last minute equipment requests from clients.
  • Operates an assortment of power tools, measurement instruments and a scissor lift working at heights exceeding 20 feet.
  • Engage, entertain and inspire all who visit  by making a focused commitment to L.O.V.E.
  • Other job related duties as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • At least 2 years working in a production related field.
  • Physical ability to access all areas, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 
Preferred:
  • Some college education.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Vectorworks.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
