  • Team Management
    • Oversee all administrative duties related to team management for the Construction and FF&E sourcing verticals, including:
      • Managing physical property (e.g., cameras, cell phones) and the Stock Transfer Log.
      • Helping with IT issues.
      • Booking and managing travel.
      • Managing SG&A costs and reporting (e.g., travel, and other expenses).
      • Scheduling all team meetings, both internal and with external stakeholders/customers.
      • Answer phones.
      • Distributing mail.
  • Procurement Processing and Risk Management Tasks
    • Serve as the interface between the procurement teams, the vendor community, and other corporate departments (e.g., Accounting, Risk Management, Design) in executing the procurement process.
    • Review, edit, shepherd, and commit all purchase orders managed in the company’s development sourcing procurement system (e.g., AEC, Stratton Warren, and Timberline).
    • Distribute all required procurement materials to all required parties (e.g., committed POs, checks, insurance forms, tax deferral letters).
    • Archive/file all procurement materials whose retention is required.
    • Manage insurance compliance by all vendors involved in development projects (e.g., OCIP, Certificates of Liability Insurance).
  • Customer/External Relations Management
    • Assists the Executive Director of FF&E and the Directors of  FF&E Strategic Sourcing in the management of internal and external customers including, but not limited to:
      • Scheduling and occasionally attending regular interactions between the Development Sourcing Teams (i.e., Construction and FF&E) and their internal customers (e.g., Design) and external customers (e.g., development or project leaders).
      • Managing the Development Sourcing Teams’ relationships with third parties (e.g., vendors, distributors, networking partners).
  • Vendor Management
    • Develop, maintain, and continually improve a qualitative cross-team, cross-project Supplier Database capturing all suppliers around the world who have been identified as past, current, or potential suppliers of Construction Materials, FF&E, and OS&E for MGM Resorts International existing properties and/or new developments.
    • Oversee all cross-team administrative tasks required to in process and manage Construction and FF&E vendors (e.g., setting up vendors in AEC, Stratton Warren, and Timberline).
  • Other Support Tasks
    • Manage the Development Sourcing Team’s reporting of results in the company’s Supplier Diversity Program.
    • Performs other job related duties as assigned.



  • At least 3 years of business experience, preferably in an administrative role serving multiple individuals or teams simultaneously.
  • Able to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a network of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and prioritizes under pressure of deadlines. 
  • Knows how to escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Very high ethical standards, demonstrating an ability to manage and lead non-preferential and objective supplier relationships.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.  Able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the Company.  Have the ability to be persuasive, yet tactful.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in programs and systems, including AEC, Stratton Warren, Timberline, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and various project management software programs (e.g., Buzzsaw).
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.


  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
