Senior Build Engineer – IT

Manage the configuration and build environment, and thus will be involved in the full range of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Develop, test, implement and manage processes in a mixed technology environment for software releases.
Work on a variety of software applications developed on various technology platforms, such as JEE, .NET.
Recommend and implement tactical improvements for Configuration Management and Build and Release tools and processes.
Coordinate efforts and environments to merge code and manage conflicts.
Track software releases and maintain Master Release and source code tree.
Assist with determining schedule and timing of activities and deployments impacting all environments.
Develop, maintain, and support our build automation process.
Manage source code trees and branches along with merging branches.
Provide support to process improvement of the IT department and other interfacing areas.
Mentorbuild engineers to ensure the high quality configuration and build environment.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
At least 5 years of Software Release Management experience.
Previous software development experience.
Knowledge of configuration management techniques.
Experience managing branches, parallel development source code trees, etc.
Strong experience managing branches, parallel development source code trees, etc.
In depth understanding of source code management, with practical experience on source code management systems such as Subversion, TFS, or Git.
In depth knowledge of continuous build systems like Cruisecontrol, Bamboo, etc.
Experience with ANT/NANT, MSBuild and other scripting technologies.
Experience with Source Control management software and developing software builds.
Understanding of software design principles and practices.
Knowledge of various operating systems such as Windows and Linux/UNIX.
Ability to work well on multiple projects in a fast paced and challenging environment and set priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience).
Experience with various databases desired such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
