Assistant Executive Steward
Food & Beverage - Kitchen/Chef/Cook/Helper

It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Executive Steward to directs and supervises all kitchen steward employees.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Mandalay Bay Resort policies, practices and procedures.
At least 1 year previous experience as Assistant Executive Steward within the hotel/casino industry.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to speak, read and write in English.
Basic computer skills.
Strong working knowledge of all Kitchen Steward functions and of all cleaning materials and equipment used in a kitchen.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
Previous experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish).
