Job Title:   Cook - Villa Services

Food & Beverage - Kitchen/Chef/Cook/Helper

  • Constantly monitor service levels on the dining room floor and adjust staffing as needed.
  • Operates a line position without direct supervision from the Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  • Assumes the accountability and the responsibilities of Supervisors in their absence.
  • Possess the ability and knowledge to work all stations in the kitchen.
  • Proficient in proper egg cookery, all types of meat and vegetable cookery including but not limited to grilling, steaming, sautéing, roasting, blanching, baking and frying.
  • Have basic baking skills including proofing.
  •  Assumes complete charge of the kitchen on respected shifts.
  • Handles Guest’s complaints and resolves problems as they arise.
  • Maintains safety and Health Department standards.
  • Expedites all food orders.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned or required.



  • Excellent knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.
  • The ability to read and execute recipes, and knowledge of advanced cooking technique.
  • Possess a full knife set and excellent knife skills (cut, dice and slice).
  • Extensive Overall knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation and presentation.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal service stills (cut, dice, mince and slice).
  • Extensive Overall knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation and presentation.
  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
  • Possess the ability to access all areas of the restaurant, withstand standing, stretching, bending kneeling, lifting and carrying items and working with environmental factors to include noise, dust and smoke.
  • Able to prepare all menu items in a timely and consistent fashion
  • Have the ability to properly operate stoves, grills, fryers, rotisseries, broilers and other utensils in preparing the food orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
  • Work in close quarters or small rooms and is occasionally exposed to hot, cold, web and/or humid condition and work environmental factors including noise, dust and smoke.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 


  • At least 2 years of fine dining and/or hotel/casino experience.
  • An Associate’s Degree in F&B and/or course certification from an accredited Culinary Institute.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
