Security Officer I
21 and over
Security Officers are responsible for providing Excellent Guest Service including, but not limited to, ensuring the safety of employees and guests and patrolling the property. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.
Patrol and monitor all areas of the property.
Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees.
Act as a First Responder in emergency situations.
Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.
Resolves complaints and issues involving both guests and employees.
Responds to emergencies as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Ability to learn, demonstrate proficiency and effectively use defensive tactics and handcuffing techniques.
Ability to participate in all evacuations procedures to aid guests and employees during an emergency.
Ability to operate assigned equipment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Interpersonal skills to effectively deal with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Have or be able to obtain CPR/AED Certification.
Have or be able to obtain Gaming Registration.
Have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
Previous casino security experience.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
